Irvine Man Killed in Sunday I-5 Freeway Crash in Santa Ana

February 13, 2012 – According to reports a man was killed in a crash on the I-5 Freeway in Santa Ana.
According to authorities the accident occurred at prior to 4:00 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the I-5 Freeway in the vicinity of Fourth Street in Santa Ana. According to the coroner’s office the man has been identified as Stanley Dunford a resident of Irvine that was pronounced dead at 4:00 p.m.
Coroner’s officials stated Dunford struck a fixed object in the southbound lanes of the I-5 Freeway. Authorities have not released any information about the cause of the crash.
